Avoid this company — faulty key, endless excuses, and zero accountability. I purchased an aftermarket key from ProLocksmith Orlando on October 29, 2025, and immediately began receiving “Passive Entry / Passive Start” and “Anti-Theft System Fault” warnings from my Ford. My original key never triggers these alerts — only the one they programmed does. When I contacted the technician, he repeatedly promised to fix it but never followed through. Here are just a few of the messages I received: “I’ll come tomorrow to change the battery.” “I had a long day, I’ll come Monday.” “I’m busy, it’s complicated, but I’ll let you know.” “I had a flat tire; I’ll fix it tomorrow.” It took them 11 days to finally come back — and even then, instead of resolving the issue, he insisted the Ford app was “making it up” and that the problem wasn’t real. Apparently, he believes he knows more about Ford’s vehicle security systems than the actual engineers who designed them. Ford’s own documentation clearly states that these warnings indicate a key that is not correctly programmed or synchronized, yet he refused to acknowledge that possibility. Instead, he blamed the app, ignored the evidence, and claimed it was out of his hands. When I pressed for help, the technician became defensive and claimed it wasn’t their responsibility. In his final message, he said he was “happy” because he recorded a video of the key “working perfectly” and accused me of being disrespectful for questioning the issue. He even threatened to “fight the card transaction” rather than simply take responsibility for the faulty key. I’ve included screenshots of our entire conversation so others can see the pattern of delays and excuses. The key still triggers the same security faults, and their customer service has been dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to take accountability. Honestly, it probably would have taken ten minutes to properly reprogram the key and fix the issue — but instead, the technician insisted everything was fine and even said he was happy with how it turned out. It’s hard to take confidence in a company that refuses to listen, ignores evidence, and believes they know more than the engineers who designed the car.

Great experience! Andrés was super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. He took the time to help me find the right keys for both my car and my house and made the whole process really easy. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever need keys made again. Thanks, Andrés!

I had a terrible experience with Pro Locksmith. The metal part of my original car key broke off because the key fob case had cracked. I found Pro Locksmith on Google and called them to fix the problem. I explained the situation to the technician when he arrived. Instead of fixing my key, the technician replaced the outer case and charged me $120 for it, plus a $49.99 service call fee, for a total of about $182. Later, I found that the replacement case they installed is sold at Walmart for around $15. The biggest issue is that after the service, my key fob no longer worked. The lock, unlock, and remote functions stopped working, yet I was still charged the full amount. The technician did not test the key with me before leaving or show me that everything was working. If you’re going to charge customers this much for a key repair, you should make sure the key fob actually works before leaving. I paid for a working key, not a non-functioning key fob. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a locksmith, and I cannot recommend Pro Locksmith based on my experience.

Luis was great and was very quick. We told him what was the issue with our front door, had a a couple options for us from mechanical to electric but we ended up going the mechanical route. He was quick with the installation and also adjusted our door so it would close right. Highly recommend this company.

Brain was awesome. I needed a new key fob for my Nissan Sentra. He contacted me to let me know how long it would take for him to get to my house. He was super friendly, fast and efficient. Excellent service five stars.
