I used Evergreen for several months. I was told how great they were for weed control. I had spent over $7k for new sod and was looking forward to a nice yard. A few months later reality set in. It appeared they were only fertilizing the WEEDS! The yard looked terrible. I canceled and thought that was the end. They came out again and I said I had canceled, the apologized and said they would take care of it. Months later collection calls began. I called and was told they would take care of it. It only a little over $100, but that is not the point. My yard was ruined. Now the collection calls have started again. If anyone else is in the same boat, I feel for you! I have already blocked about a dozen numbers from area codes around the Country from A.R.M. Solutions, all for $100, when Evergreen cost me THOUSANDS!

We have had three different lawn and pest control companies in the 11 years we have lived here in Florida. Evergreen and Ryan Burnette specifically, our service agent, has maintained our yard and plants the best of any by far. We have had a couple of issues with some plant insects but they were dealt with quickly. I would recommend Evergreen to anyone.

I completely re-sodded my front yard and had Evergreen start treating it. The yard was so green, and looked so good, before they started, I got compliments. Several months into their “service” there were several different types of weeds rampant in the yard as well as dead spots.I received several notices, prior to my last treatment, that they would be here, as I have to unlock the gate to treat the back yard. They did not show up on either of those days, yet finally made it out a week later. I called, and spoke with a very Professional young Lady about my dissatisfaction with how my yard looked, and she in turn had a “manager” call me a few days later. He stated he would come out and take a look on Thursday, or Friday, of that week. As I would not be able to be present, which was my preference, he said he would call me with his findings, and he would set up a follow up treatment. After not hearing from him in over a week I called again and the Lady said she would have him call. After waiting over a week, I called to inquire about the day the “follow up treatment” would be done. The Lady I spoke with on this occasion said that the “manager” had been out the Friday prior (which was not the week he said he’d be here). She began laughing during our conversation, and when I asked what she found funny, she again laughed. Though the first Lady I spoke with weeks ago, was very Professional, I found this Lady to be very unprofessional, especially under the circumstances of dealing with an unhappy customer. When first calling in one gets the recording that “calls may be monitored for training purposes”, or of that nature. I recommend Evergreen Management listen to the recording of my call. Obviously, based on my “customer service” experience, as well as the poor condition of my yard, I cancelled my “service”. Pictures included.

Today I happened to meet Yanni while taking out my trash. He introduced himself and asked if I needed my grass cut. I explained that I had some bad experiences in the past, so I was a little skeptical at first. I’m so glad I gave him the opportunity! He did an outstanding job. The attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work truly exceeded my expectations. My front and back yard look completely transformed. It’s not easy to find someone reliable these days, but Yanni proved to be trustworthy and highly skilled. If you’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and delivers excellent results, I definitely recommend.

Let me start by saying I’ve been a loyal customer since January 18, 2015. Writing a one-star review after previously leaving a five-star review is not something I take lightly. Things started to shift after Evergreen was acquired in 2021. While the service dipped slightly, it was still overall acceptable. However, something clearly changed in 2024–2025—and not for the better. My father, who is extremely particular about his lawn, had a serious issue where a treatment killed his grass. Promises were made to fix it, but nothing was ever resolved, and he ultimately canceled his service. Despite that, I stayed on because my lawn was still doing okay at the time. That changed in fall 2025 when my zoysia grass began deteriorating badly. A manager came out, recommended dethatching and aeration, and I followed that advice. Unfortunately, it made no improvement. My backyard is now essentially dead, with weeds taking over. Meanwhile, my front and side yards (St. Augustine) are still in good shape, which only highlights how bad the backyard has become. To make matters worse, there were billing and service issues. I was told my credit card was removed from autopay due to a system change. I paid the balance immediately and requested to be put back on autopay. I assumed everything was handled. Over the past few months, I noticed my neighbors receiving treatments while my yard was being skipped. I made multiple calls and never received a callback. Today (04/27/2026), I finally got an answer—apparently all my services had been canceled without my knowledge. No explanation. No communication. And now I’m being scheduled again after months of neglect, with a backyard that’s beyond saving. At this point, what is the point? I’m left with a dead lawn that I now have to fully replace, while paying for a service that contributed to its decline. This is especially disappointing after 11 years as a customer. I’ve referred many clients over the years, but I can no longer do that in good conscience. We had a great run, but something has clearly gone wrong. If this is how a long-term customer is treated, I would strongly caution others to consider that before signing up.
